I can't believe it will be 2014! I still think its the 90's ha! Where does the time go? I remember my Dad always saying that the older you get, the faster the time goes. That sure is true. It seems to me that my kids are growing up at lightening speed. I try to savor all the moments with them because in no time they will be gone. What will I do?! I hope you all have a great year to come. I am sure most of us will have our "New Years Resolutions" and swear we will stick by them. I know I will! At least I can try to anyway.

My Parents always had New Years parties when I was growing up and still do! Steamed shrimp and drinks were on the menu. We try to carry that tradition on. What is on your New Years eve menu?

Great photos! I love the one of Lucy and Desi! My family celebrates New Year's eve but the real celebration is on New Year's day when my Mommom cooks her traditional polenta and cod dinner.
